Talks Between CUPE And NB Government To Resume Thursday

There’s a glimmer of hope for striking CUPE NB workers.

Union members and Premier Blaine Higgs will meet Thursday afternoon.

The Premier sent a message to Union President Stephen Drost late Wednesday morning, asking for a meeting.

There’s still some uncertainty as to whether or not negotiations will resume, but according to a CUPE update, both parties were working out the logistics of the meeting yesterday.

The meeting is scheduled for 1 o’clock.
