No Deal Yet In CUPE NB Strike

Still no deal to resolve an ongoing CUPE NB strike.

Premier Blaine Higgs and members of CUPE met on Thursday for the first time in over a week.

A Facebook post from CUPE 2745 Educational Support just before 5pm yesterday afternoon states that the Centralized Bargaining Team delegation was still trying to find a path forward to resume bargaining with the province.

It adds that talks are ongoing.

CUPE NB workers walked off the job last Friday, holding rotating strikes involving more than 22,000 workers.
