A man has been arrested in connection with a fatal hit and run in the Petitcodiac area early Friday morning.
Just before 2 a.m., Mounties were called to Route 106 in Petitcodiac East for a two vehicle collision.
A 57-year-old man who was driving the moped died at the scene.
An abandoned pick-up truck was found nearby.
A 31-year-old man turned himself into police at around 8:45am Friday morning.
An autopsy has been scheduled to determine man’s exact cause of death.
