Three NB Communities Holding Municipal By-Elections

Residents in the communities of Beaubassin-Est, Petitcodiac and Cambridge-Narrows are casting ballots on November 8th.

Beaubassin-Est and Petitcodiac are each be filling one councillor seat.

Cambridge-Narrows is electing a mayor.

However, Elections New Brunswick spokesperson Paul Harpelle says vacancies remain in the municipalities of Port Elgin, and Lamèque, “In some cases, in very small communities, it is hard to find people who are willing to give up the time and commitment needed to sit on Council.”

Polling stations are open from 10 until 8pm.
