Police say a body that was discovered in October near Mayfield has been positively identified.
New Brunswick RCMP said in a release that they were able to positively identify the body as 39-year-old Luke Cunningham from Mayfield who was reported missing on September 7.
His body was discovered on October 23 after officers responded to a call from a property owner who found a body in a wooded area near Route 735.
Officials said they do not have any reason to believe that criminality was involved.
