The sky will shine over Saint John to usher in the New Year.
City council has authorized staff to enter into an agreement with Fireworks FX Inc. for a display during New Year’s Eve celebrations.
It will occur on the evening of December 31 at Long Wharf.
Fireworks FX Inc. has been hired by the city before, most recently displaying fireworks on New Brunswick Day.
The fireworks are expected to cost $15,000, and the event will comply with the province’s COVID-19 requirements and mandates.
