Mix Of Precipitation Predicted In Latest Storm System

A special weather statement remains in effect for the province, with snow, rain and freezing rain expected, depending on where you live.

Environment Canada says current indications show over 15 centimetres of snow is expected to fall in northern New Brunswick starting Wednesday afternoon and ending early Thursday morning.

Central regions could see the storm start as snow, but change to a prolonged period of freezing rain.

In the south, a brief period of snow is expected before changing over to rain.

Meantime, winter officially begins at 11:59 this morning.
