Storm Leads To Around 20 Crashes In Saint John

Emergency crews in Saint John were kept busy on Friday thanks to this winter’s first major storm.

Saint John police said they responded to about 20 motor vehicle collisions during the storm.

In a news release, police said 10 of the collisions were reported to involve injuries, mostly minor in nature.

Officers also responded to more than 30 other calls related to the storm, many of which involved vehicles stuck in the snow blocking roadways.
