Significant Rain, Snow Coming To N.B.

You will need a snowblower or rain boots this weekend depending on where you are in New Brunswick.

Forecasters are tracking another storm that could bring significant rain and snow to the province this weekend.

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Saturday through Saturday night.

The weather agency said precipitation should fall mainly as rain in southern and central New Brunswick.

“This system has the potential to cause significant snowfall amounts to parts of northern New Brunswick,” said the special weather statement.

Forecasters said more details on precipitation amounts and timing are expected in the coming days, noting there is still some uncertainty in the exact track of the system.
