Bathurst Teen’s Disappearance Remains Under Investigation

RCMP Specialized Police Services are expected to be in the Bathurst and Middle River areas in the coming weeks, as a part of the ongoing search for Madison Roy-Boudreau.

She was 14 years old when she was last seen getting into a grey Ford Ranger in Bathurst on May 11, 2021.

In the weeks following and after an extensive search, RCMP ruled her disappearance a homicide in August.

“We’re not able to share specific information to protect the ongoing investigation, but we have reason to believe Madison was in the Middle River area after she was last seen in Bathurst on May 11 last year. This would place her in RCMP jurisdiction,” said Corporal Hans Ouellette of the New Brunswick RCMP.

RCMP continue to work closely with the Bathurst Police Force in their investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 1-888-506-RCMP (7267).

Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
