Coroner’s Inquest Ordered Into Inmate Death

An inmate in custody at the Madawaska Regional Correctional Centre in Saint-Hilaire has died.

The Department of Justice says Jarrett Lorne Lunn was found unresponsive on March 31.

The 24-year-old was taken to the Edmundston Regional Hospital, where he died on Thursday.

According to the department, Lunn was being held on remand awaiting a court appearance.
