Yesterday was Carly Pearce’s 32 Birthday! She spent her Bday weekend kicking off her tour with Kenny chesney. Not bad for a girl who left her Kentucky home at 16 to take a job at Dollywood, completely unsure of what the future held or if her childhood dreams of being a big country music star would even come true is NOW a validated award-winning country superstar! Oh, and Dolly Parton invited her to become a member of the Grand Ole Opry last year. A full-circle moment for Carly!
Carly Pearce was recently talking with Delish and she was asked 3 questions – “If you didn’t make a country album, what genre would it be?,” “What’s your favorite song you’ve ever written?” and “What’s the fastest song you’ve ever written?”
This weekend, Kentucky native Chris Stapleton had the honor of playing the first-ever concert at Kroger Field on the campus of the University of Kentucky for a good cause.
A Concert for Kentucky was a benefit show with all proceeds going to Chris and Morgane’s Outlaw State of Kind Hometown Fund, established to support local and national organizations that benefit his home state.
This one-of-a-kind show featured special guests, Willie Nelson and Sheryl Crow.
Chris had a big gift for the senior class of his alma mater, Johnson Central High School, paying for the entire class of 2022 to attend the show! He also paid for their transportation.
Jon Pardi sure has been busy. Last week we shared a new song of his called Keys to the country.
Now He’s featured on a song from the new album from Midland. The album is called THE LAST RESORT: GREETINGS FROM,” which will be out May 6.

He just put out a brand-new song called “She’s On It.”.
Travis says “This track has been a favorite of mine for a little while.
We’ve played it live and the crowds loved it. So, we felt like now was the time to put it out there to a wider audience. Hopefully listeners dig it. I can’t wait to get out here and play it at more shows.”
