Reviving N.B. People’s Alliance Party

Members of the former People’s Alliance of New Brunswick are hoping for a resurrection.

This comes after Leader Kris Austin announced last month that he was dissolving the party and joining the Progressive Conservative Party.

Members have approached Elections New Brunswick and are trying to recover the party name, membership lists, and website.

Their hope is to do so before June 1st in time to run candidates in upcoming byelections in the Miramichi area on June 20th.

A leadership convention is planned for May 28th, if members are successful.
