Diesel and furnace oil prices jumped overnight in New Brunswick.
This after the Energy and Utilities Board invoked its interrupter clause.
The new maximum price for diesel is just over $2.24 per litre, an increase of more than eight cents.
You will still find it selling for a few cents less at most local gas stations.
Furnace oil is up by nine cents to a new maximum price of nearly $2.04 per litre.
Gasoline prices were not affected. The maximum price remains at just under $1.83 per litre.
