N.B. Fuel Prices Expected To Jump

The pain at the pumps is expected to get worse this week.

Dan McTeague, president of Canadians for Affordable Energy, believes gasoline may jump by at least 7 cents per litre.

Diesel could increase by 6 cents per litre.

The current maximum price for gasoline is $1.825 per litre while the maximum for diesel is $2.398 per litre.

The Energy and Utilities Board will make price adjustments at midnight.
