RCMP Pipes and Drums N.B. Announce Free Public Concerts

You will have the chance to see RCMP Pipes & Drums New Brunswick perform over the coming weeks.

The band will be hosting a series of 60-minute free public concerts in recognition of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

The first concert is set for Thursday, June 2, at 7 p.m. at the Downtown Plaza in Moncton.

Concerts will also take place in Shediac, Dalhousie and Quispamsis throughout the months of June and July.

  • Shediac: Sunday, June 26, at 12 p.m. – Shediac Market, 10 Weldon Steet, Shediac
  • Dalhousie: Sunday, July 24, at 2 p.m. – Dalhousie Town Hall Stage, 111 Hall Street, Dalhousie
  • Quispamsis: Tuesday, July 26, at 7 p.m. – Quispamsis Culture Park, 12 Landing Court, Quispamsis

The end of each concert will feature a unique piece of music specially composed for this historic Jubilee — “Diu Regnare” (Long Reign).

Also performing with the band during the concert series are the RCMP New Brunswick Highland Dancers from The Dunnett School of Highland Dancing. The school has been active in the Greater Moncton area since 1975.

RCMP Pipes & Drums is made up of retired Mounties, retired military members and people from all walks of life.
