Cyclist Hospitalized After Rothesay Crash

Police say a man was taken to the hospital after a collision between a vehicle and a cyclist in Rothesay.

Kennebecasis regional police say it happened at the intersection of Hampton Road and Dobbin Street just before 7 p.m. Thursday.

“When police arrived, they learned that the male cyclist was traveling west on the Hampton Rd, when it struck the side of a vehicle exiting Dobbin Street,” Insp. Anika Becker wrote in an email.

The cyclist was taken to the hospital with what police describe as non-life threatening injuries.

No word if any charges may be laid in connection with the crash, which remains under investigation.
