Gunshots rang out in the wee hours of Friday near Rockwood Park.
Saint John police say it happened around 4:45 a.m. in the Matthew Lane area.
Police say the suspects discharged a firearm, causing damage to two parked unoccupied vehicles.
A vehicle fled the scene soon after discharging a firearm.
The Major Crime Unit is looking into the incident.
Investigators want to hear from any witnesses with video of the incident or who live in the Matthew Lane/Hawthorne Extension area.
