RCMP Looking For Person Of Interest After Suspicious House Fire

RCMP is hoping the public can help locate a person of interest after a suspicious house fire near Petitcodiac.

On July 18, 2022, at approximately 8:45 a.m., Caledonia RCMP, Petitcodiac and Havelock Fire and Rescue, along with Ambulance New Brunswick paramedics responded to reports of a house on fire on Wilson Road in the community of Fawcett Hill.

A 32-year-old man was transported to the hospital with severe injuries.

Initial information indicated that the man was the sole occupant of the house at the time of the incident, but through a police investigation, it was learned the fire was set intentionally by an individual, who had fled the scene before police arrived.

Police are looking to speak with 25-year-old Pammelia Elaine Phinney.

She is described as 5’2, with a medium build, brown hair and brown eyes, and she is believed to be in the Riverview area.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Pammelia Elaine Phinney is asked to contact the Caledonia Region RCMP at 506-387-2222. Police are also interested in speaking with anyone who witnessed the incident at the home on Wilson Road, or who has information about the incident.
