Six people have been displaced after a fire in Saint John’s north end over the long weekend.
Emergency crews were called to Bryden Street around 2 p.m. Sunday, according to the Canadian Red Cross.
The organization said a stove-top fire caused smoke damage in one apartment of an older four-unit building.
Two adults and four children have received emergency lodging, meals, transportation and some other basics from the Red Cross pending cleanup and repairs.
