Thirteen New Brunswick lawyers have been appointed King’s counsel.

The latest recipients include Clarence Bennett, Rodney Macdonald and Christopher Titus, all from Saint John.

Also on the list are Marc-Antoine Chiasson and Talia Profit of Moncton, Lisa Keenan of Rothesay, and Tracy Peters of Dieppe.

The honorary designation is given to lawyers who have demonstrated outstanding practice, shown integrity and leadership, and made contributions to excellence in the profession.

They also must be members of the Law Society of New Brunswick and have at least 15 years’ experience in the practice of law.

A swearing-in ceremony took place for the new members on Monday at the legislation.
