Pedestrian Hurt In Parking Lot Hit And Run

Police in Saint John are trying to identify the driver and vehicle in a hit-and-run involving a pedestrian.

Shortly after 6 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to a collision involving a pedestrian in a parking lot on McAllister Drive.

A small sedan struck a 44-year-old woman walking across the parking lot.

The driver did not remain at the scene. The woman was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police want to hear from witnesses or anyone in the area that has dash-cam or video surveillance of the incident at the time it occurred.
