Some New Brunswickers will be paying more at the fuel pumps on Wednesday.
The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board invoked its interrupter clause overnight.
Diesel prices jumped by 7.6 cents to a new maximum of $2.69 per litre.
The price for heating oil went up by around the same amount to $2.44 per litre.
Gas prices remain unchanged at a maximum of $1.54 per litre.
