The Saint John Newcomers Centre has expanded to a new location in the city’s uptown.
Staff held a grand opening in their new office at 75 Prince William Street earlier this week.
“There has never been a more exciting time to be in New Brunswick,” said Mohamed Bagha, managing director of the organization.
It marks a significant milestone for the organization, which cares for newcomers throughout Greater Saint John.
Bagha, who has been leading the centre since 2013, said we are currently in both “a sweet spot and at a crossroads.”
“The increase in immigration to Canada and New Brunswick means the programs we offer newcomers and their families have never been more important to the Greater Saint John community,” he said.
Founded in 2009, the Saint John Newcomers Centre offers a wide range of services to newcomers in the Saint John region.
