Moncton Man Accused Of Filming Kids At Fredericton Hotels

A Moncton man has been charged after police allege he filmed children at several Fredericton hotels.

Police said they were called to four different hotels after receiving reports of a man videotaping children in the pool areas.

The incidents are alleged to have occurred in early November, the Fredericton Police Force said in a news release on Thursday.

Stephen Blackwood is charged with assault, sexual assault on a person under 16, and sexual interference.

He was later released on conditions and is scheduled to return to court on Jan. 5.

According to Fredericton police, Blackwood is also being investigated by Mounties for offences allegedly committed in the Moncton area.
