Rain, Snow, Wind And Possibility Of Freezing Rain This Week

A mixed bag of weather is on the way from Thursday through Saturday this week.

Environment Canada has issued special weather statements for the whole province.

Up to 30 centimetres of snow is expected for central and northern New Brunswick, while Southern New Brunswick will see upwards of 25 millimetres of rain.

It’s expected to begin as snow overnight on Thursday, before changing to rain over Southern New Brunswick on Friday morning and over the central and northern regions by Friday evening.

Freezing rain is also a possibility during the transition.

It’ll all wrap up by early Saturday morning.

Wind gusts of up to 80 kilometres an hour are also anticipated.
