Drugs, Cash Found In Safe Seized By Police

Saint John police have made a seizure in an ongoing drug trafficking investigation.

Police said they seized a safe from a residence on the city’s west side in December.

Officers executed a search warrant on the safe this week, police said in a news release Thursday.

Inside the safe was two ounces of suspected crystal meth, 32 suspected hydromorphone pills, and 60 suspected Percocet pills.

Police said they also found Canadian currency valued at more than $13,200.

No charges have been laid at this time as the investigation continues.
