More wacky weather on the way.
An intense low-pressure system is forecast to bring snow, rain and strong winds to the region.
Rainfall warnings have now been issued for Southern and Southwestern New Brunswick, including Saint John, St Stephen, Fundy and Fredericton.
Between 40 and 50 millimetres of rain is expected, with higher amounts along the Fundy coast.
It’ll start as snow tonight, before changing to heavy rain, and it will continue until Thursday evening to fall starting tonight and continue until tomorrow evening.
Areas including Moncton and Southeast New Brunswick, and Sussex and the Kennebecasis Valley remain under special weather statements at this point environment Canada is calling for 10 centimetres of snow to begin overnight tonight.
That will change to rain tomorrow morning with around 20 millimetres forecasted.
To the north and for parts of central New Brunswick, they’re dealing with a snowfall warning with up to 30 centimetres expected.
