Fewer Tickets Issued In Latest Parking Ban

Fewer tickets were issued during the latest overnight parking ban in Saint John’s south/central peninsula.

City officials declared a parking ban in the south/central peninsula on Tuesday night.

On-street parking was not allowed between 11 p.m. Monday and 7 a.m. Tuesday.

A spokesperson for the city said 79 tickets were issued and 26 vehicles were towed.

During the most recent south/central peninsula parking ban last week, there were 173 tickets issued and 30 vehicles towed.
