A power outage in the Hampton area has led to an early dismissal for some students.
Hampton High School is closing for the day, according to the Anglophone South School District.
NB Power said more than 1,100 homes and businesses are without power in Hampton, Bloomfield, Erbs Cove, Kiersteadville, Kingston, Long Point and Lower Norton.
Power is not expected to be restored until between noon and 1 p.m. Thursday.
