Some residents of a newly-formed government near Sussex are heading to the polls.
Byelections are taking place on Monday in the community of Valley Waters.
There is one vacant council seat in Ward 2 and another in Ward 3.
Two people have put their names forward for each of the seats.
Voters are encouraged to bring their Voter Information Cards to help speed up the process.
If you are not on the voters list, you will have to show your ID in order to be added before you can vote.
Polls are open until 8 p.m. Monday. Results will be posted on Elections New Brunswick’s website shortly after.
