Man Dies After Pedestrian Collision In Moncton

Mounties say a 72-year-old Moncton man has died after being struck by a vehicle nearly a week ago.

The crash happened at the intersection of Mountain Road and Winter Avenue around 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Police say the victim was taken to the hospital with serious life-threatening injuries. He died the next day.

The driver of the vehicle was not physically hurt, according to the RCMP.

An autopsy will be conducted to determine the man’s exact cause of death.
