RCMP Need Public’s Help After Vehicle Fire In Grand Manan

Help is needed after a suspicious vehicle fire in Grand Manan.

On the morning of February 13th, a boom truck on Bancroft Road was significantly damaged, and the cab of the same truck was destroyed.

RCMP has determined that a pickup truck with a long lightbar above the front windshield drove onto the property at around midnight the same morning.

Police say the fire began shortly after the pickup left.

Anyone who lives in the area and may have witnessed suspicious activity at the time of the incident, or who may have surveillance footage is asked to contact the Grand Manan RCMP at 506-662-1210. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477)
