Might as well pull out the snow shovel now: Environment Canada is tracking yet another storm system.
The latest round of winter weather is expected to lead to deteriorating road conditions throughout the day Thursday.
A snowfall warning has been issued for southernmost areas of New Brunswick including:
- Fundy National Park
- Grand Manan and Coastal Charlotte County
- Saint John and County
Environment Canada says between 15 and 20 centimetres of snow is on the way for those areas.
Snow is expected to start around noon Thursday and continue through Thursday night.
The rest of southern New Brunswick is under a special weather statement including:
- Fredericton and Southern York County
- Grand Lake and Queens County
- Moncton and Southeast New Brunswick
- Oromocto and Sunbury County
- St. Stephen and Northern Charlotte County
- Sussex – Kennebecasis Valley and Kings County
Those areas can expect between 10 and 15 centimetres of snow, with higher amounts possible.
Snow will taper to flurries across southern New Brunswick by Friday morning, according to forecasters.
