Foul play not suspected in deaths of two women near Shediac

RCMP says the deaths of two women near Shediac are not believed to be criminal in nature.

Shediac Fire Captain Julien Boudreau says firefighters were dispatched to an unserviced road at around 8:24 p.m. on Saturday.

Two unresponsive women were found in a vehicle in the snow on Riverside Drive.

Aid was administered until Ambulance New Brunswick arrived.

RCMP identified the women as a 35-year-old from Bouctouche and a 59-year-old from Notre Dame.
