15-year-old charged with attempted murder after stabbing at Bedford high school

A 15 year old is facing attempted murder charges after a stabbing at a high school in Bedford.

It happened around 9:20am yesterday at Charles P. Allen when the school went into a hold and secure.

Two of the victims were staff members who are in hospital in serious but stable condition.

Police say the teen, who also stabbed himself, was also hurt and is facing a number of charges.

They include:

Attempted murder (2x)
Aggravated assault (2x)
Possession of a weapon dangerous to public peace (2x)
Carrying a concealed weapon (2x)
Possession of a prohibited weapon
Possession of a weapon knowing it is unauthorized
Mischief

The school was to reopen this afternoon, but classes are now cancelled.
