Saint John police locate stolen motorized wheelchair

Saint John police say a motorized wheelchair that went missing from the uptown area nearly a month ago has been found.

Police said the wheelchair was taken from the 200-block of Pitt Street between 11 p.m. on March 28 and 3 a.m. the following day.

The 2019 Quantum wheelchair has a red body and a black seat with a joystick control.

Saint John police said the wheelchair was found abandoned in an alleyway on Princess Street on Tuesday afternoon and was returned to the owner.

No charges have been laid and police are still seeking information from the public.
