Denver Black of Harewood is facing a number of charges, the RCMP announced in a Friday news release.

Police say they tried to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation in the community of Berwick around 2 p.m. on April 4.

The driver eventually pulled into a parking lot and officers confirmed they were known to police.

It is alleged that the driver then drove into a police car twice, causing significant damages, before fleeing the scene.

Anyone who sees Black is urged to stay away and contact the police immediately. You can reach Sussex RCMP by calling 506-433-7700.
