Police say a St. Stephen man wanted on two arrest warrants has been taken into custody.
The 27-year-old was arrested in a rural area north of the community on Tuesday.
Mounties said he failed to appear in court on two separate occasions in July.
He was facing a number of charges, including theft under $5,000 and break and enter with intent.
The accused is now scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.
Police had warned the public not to approach him, saying he may have been in possession of a firearm.
