Arrest in connection with break and enter at Saint John apartment

A 46-year-old man has been arrested after a break-in on Clarendon Street.

Saint John police say a suspect entered an apartment at around 1:48 a.m. Tuesday while the residents were sleeping.

A number of items were taken, including keys and a vehicle.

At approximately 2:30 a.m., the car was found in a parking lot on Loch Lomond Road with a man inside.

He was also reportedly in possession of other items from the break-in.

The man is being held in custody and was due to appear in court Tuesday afternoon.
