This is the 5th Annual Military Family Appreciation Day.
Minister of National Defence, Bill Blair says military families make a crucial contribution to Canada’s national security and they will always do whatever it takes to support them.
DND and the forces have been addressing the challenges of military members who frequently move because of service by simplifying relocation, expanding employment and training support services for military spouses, plus providing counselling and support programs for children
There are more than 32 Military Family Resource Centres located at bases and wings across Canada, as well as services in the U.S. and Europe
