4 drug trafficking arrests in Saint John’s north end

Four people are facing drug trafficking charges after being arrested in Saint John’s north end.

Police said they arrested four people in a vehicle on Lansdowne Avenue on Wednesday.

They seized 4.06 grams of suspected fentanyl, 2.2 grams of suspected cocaine, 11 suspected hydromorphone pills, 0.62 grams of suspected crack cocaine, and more than $575 in cash.

Two men, ages 53 and 28, and two women, ages 34 and 29, were arrested for possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, fentanyl, and hydromorphone, as well as possession of property obtained by crime.

The four were later released on undertakings to appear in court in February.
