$83K raised during Coldest Night of the Year

A weekend walk helped to raise money for those experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness.

Coldest Night of the Year took place Saturday night in nearly 200 different locations across Canada.

That included here in Saint John, where the 2K and 5K walk raised more than $83,000 in total.

That money will go to Outflow, which operates a homeless shelter in the city.

Organizers say more than $13.3 million was raised from coast to coast.
