Rash of break-ins and thefts in St. Stephen

Mounties are investigating a series of break-ins and thefts in St. Stephen.

Several incidents were reported on Queen and McColl streets last week.

Police said they all happened between 4 p.m. Wednesday and 1 a.m. Thursday.

“No one was injured during the incidents, however, police are reminding residents to keep their doors and their vehicles locked, even while home, to prevent thefts,” RCMP said in a news release on Monday.

Anyone who has information is asked to contact St. Stephen RCMP at 506-466-7030 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
