Name the RCMP puppies!

Time is running out to help name the RCMP German Shepherd puppies!

They were born at the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Police Dog Service Training Centre (PDSTC) in Innisfail, Ontario.

Thirteen puppy names are needed.

Youth between the ages of 4 and 14 can submit name suggestions, for this next generation of police dogs for RCMP.

Names must start with the letter ‘T’, have one or two syllables and be no longer than nine letters. The deadline for submission is March 25.

Each year, the Centre has a contest to help name their puppies. The contest invites kids across Canada, between the ages of 4 to 14 years old, to submit name suggestions. This year, participants are asked to submit names starting with ‘T’.

Contest winners and the winning names will be announced on Thursday, April 25, 2024, on the RCMP website.
