Busy weekend of weather in N.B.

It was a rough weekend weather-wise for parts of the province.

Heavy rain, freezing rain and snow made travel very tricky, especially in the central and northern regions.

Charlotte County got around 80 millimetres of rain while Miramichi residents were digging out after receiving over 25 centimetres of snow.

There are also reported road washouts in the Grand Bay-Westfield.

Around 4000 lost power but most had their lights back on by Sunday morning.

Winter storm, rainfall warnings and special weather statements were issued. They were lifted Sunday morning as well.
