Canada’s most wanted fugitive arrested in P.E.I.

Canada’s most wanted fugitive has been taken into custody — in Prince Edward Island.

Michael Bebee was arrested at a business in Charlottetown on Tuesday evening.

The 35-year-old was wanted for murder in a July 2023 shooting in Toronto.

Charlottetown police say they were contacted last week by Toronto police who indicated they believed Bebee may be in P.E.I.

Bebee was named Canada’s most wanted fugitive just over a week ago.

Officials also announced a $100,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.
