Canada-wide warrant issued by Saint John police

Saint John police are looking for the public’s help to locate a 41-year-old woman wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.

A warrant was issued for the arrest of Amanda Raynes on Monday for allegedly breaching the conditions of her statutory release.

She is described as 5’3″ tall, weighing 105 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

She has several tattoos. They include black and white flowers on the left forearm, a rose on the left middle finger, a cross covered by flowers on her right forearm, a spider on her neck and a clock on her left hand.

Raynes is serving a five-year, five-month and 29-day sentence for convictions of assault causing bodily harm, assaulting a peace officer with a weapon or imitation, assault with a weapon, escape or being at large without excuse, motor vehicle theft, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, armed robbery, and uttering counterfeit money.

Police are warning the public not to approach the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Saint John Police Force at 1-506-648-3333 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
