An 18-year-old has died in an ATV crash.
RCMP say the vehicle was travelling at a low speed on Highway 313 in Petite-Rivière-de-l’île on Friday when the driver lost control, left the road and went into the ditch.
The woman from Miscou, who was the only one on the ATV, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Members of the Lamèque Fire Department, Ambulance New Brunswick, and an RCMP Collision Reconstructionist also attended the scene.
An autopsy will be conducted to determine the woman’s exact cause of death.
