Saint John Fire, Coast Guard to hold training exercise

If you see first responders in Saint John Harbour on Saturday afternoon, do not be alarmed.

The Saint John Fire Department and the Canadian Coast Guard are participating in a joint training exercise.

Multiple emergency and specialty vehicles and marine units, as well as emergency personnel will be on-site and in the water.

The simulated rescue exercise, which is weather permitting, is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.
